Time: 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

What to Expect:
Each month begins with socializing and the tasting table. Then there is a featured speaker for roughly an hour, on specialized topics of interest to the members. Past topics have included:
Water-Wise Gardening
Unique Grapes for North San Diego County
Avocado Irrigation
Introduction to Food Forests
Growing Blueberries in San Diego
The evening finishes with an opportunity table and occasionally a silent auction. Members can choose to bring an item for the raffle table (in exchange for a raffle ticket) or buy raffle tickets $5 for 6. Items include small plants or cuttings, a bag of fruit from our trees, supplies for canning or gardening, seeds, or whatever seems applicable. Raffle winners choose their item in order of the number being called.

Other Events
In addition to our chapter meetings, we also have special events, usually one per month. These include tours of members' orchards, special off-site talks, and other great opportunities to expand your knowledge. Check the calendar frequently to see what's coming up!
