Banana Pudding Icebox Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 (3.4-oz.) box instant vanilla pudding, plus ingredients called for on box

  • 1 (11-oz.) box vanilla wafers

  • 1/2 cup cold milk

  • 6 large ripe bananas, thinly sliced in rounds

  • 8 oz. whipped topping (such as Cool Whip), plus more for decorating

How to Prepare

  1. Prepare pudding according to box instructions.

  2. Arrange a layer of vanilla wafers (19) on the bottom of an 8" springform, dipping each cookie in milk before adding to the pan. Spread a third of the pudding on top of wafers. Arrange a layer of bananas on top of pudding. Top with a third of the whipped topping. Repeat 2 more times.

  3. Smooth top of cake with a spatula. Cover with plastic and place pan in freezer until firm, about 4 hours.

  4. Unmold and place dollops of whipped topping around the cake and alternate standing up vanilla wafers and banana slices in the dollops.
