UPCOMING EVENT

Fall Fun Festival (and Plant Sale!)
Saturday, October 11, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Alta Vista Botanical Gardens
1270 Vale Terrace Drive, Vista CA 92084
Join the North San Diego Chapter of California Rare Fruit Growers as we participate in the Alta Vista Fall Fun Festival on October 11. We'll have a booth selling plants that you can eat (or that grow things you can eat) and there's lots going on.
Want to contribute?
Donate edible plants to sell:
If you start cool weather seeds now, they should be on their way to be big enough for the sale in mid-October!
When you are buying any edibles for your garden like veggie 6 packs, if you don't need all 6, plant 3 and pot up three for our sale!
We can sell growing fruit trees, veggies, herbs, flowers that have edible parts, and bags of veggies and fruit. We can also sell pieces of material like dragon fruit cuttings.
Many flowers are edible as well, more info here:

Volunteer to help at our booth. Shifts are from 8:30-10:30 to help set up, 10:30-1:30, and 1:30 -3:30 to help take down. No experience necessary, this is a fun event!
Email Dawne (on our board members list) if you'd like to support.
