Orchard Tour - Ken Tseng's Fortule Farms

From 10:00 AM - 12:00 noon on Saturday, July 25, 2026, Ken Tseng will welcome us back to Fortule Farms in Escondido.

Since our visit last year, a lot more plants have been added to the Farm. Also, we are visiting a bit earlier in the year, when more varieties of Dragon Fruit will be ripe for us to taste. Dragon fruit cuttings and other plants will be available for sale.

Ken says: 'Welcome to Fortule, a certified organic farm where we grow delicious dragon fruit, figs, cherimoya, guava, pomegranates, avocados, lemons, and so much more! But we don’t stop there—we also love experimenting with rare and unique fruits, so we’ve dedicated part of our farm to growing both familiar favorites and exotic finds.

From nearly every pome and stone fruit you’d find at local nurseries to special varieties sourced from passionate collectors, our orchard is full of surprises. Ever heard of yangmei, lucuma, cherilata, or black sapote? These are just a few of the unusual treasures we’re nurturing!

Thanks to our two greenhouses, we’re able to propagate many of our own fruit trees, which means we’re always growing something new and exciting. Whether you’re a fruit enthusiast or just curious about sustainable farming, we’d love to have you visiting our farm!
