Horticultural Myths

MEETING SCHEDULE

• 6:00pm – 7:00pm: gate/doors open at 6pm. Come help the board members set up for the meeting and socialize with other members. Meeting will begin promptly at 7pm.

• 7:00pm – 7:15pm: Business meeting

• 7:15pm – 8:15pm: Presentation with questions at the end

• 8:15pm – 8:50pm: Raffle

• 8:50pm – 9:00 pm: Clean up

Dawn Standke has been a Master Gardener since 2005 and is the founder and past chair of the Earth-Friendly Gardens committee. In addition to teaching people about gardening, Dawn likes to grow fruits, vegetables, and plants that attract birds and butterflies. Before becoming a Master Gardener, Dawn worked as a computer programmer. She has degrees in computer science, math, and a master's degree in computer engineering with an emphasis on artificial intelligence. (But that was a long long time ago, when AI was very young. She likes gardening far more than working with computers!)
