Irrigation Basics, Presented by Gerri Spinelli

Gerry Spinelli will focus his presentation on irrigation techniques that can be applied to backyard orchards, gardens, raised beds, and potted plants. He is the production horticulture advisor serving the nursery and floriculture industry in San Diego for the University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources (UCANR). Gerry conducts applied research, extension, and education to improve viability and profitability of the nursery and floriculture industry, while conserving natural resources and complying with regulations.

MEETING SCHEDULE

• 6:00pm – 7:00pm: gate/doors open at 6pm. Come help the board members set up for the meeting and socialize with other members. Meeting will begin promptly at 7pm.

• 7:00pm – 7:15pm: Business meeting

• 7:15pm – 8:15pm: Presentation with questions at the end

• 8:15pm – 8:50pm: Raffle

• 8:50pm – 9:00 pm: Clean up
